At the Altar, in the hands of the priest, a miracle happens before our very eyes. A drop of water is placed into the chalice, mingles with the wine, and through the prayer of the priest and the power of the Holy Spirit becomes the most precious blood of Christ.
During transubstantiation that drop of water, which is of no value and has no price, becomes of divine value.
That drop of water signifies you.
It signifies man and human nature; man who changes and becomes new; man who unites himself with God, the only One greater than himself.
This is the fruit of the Holy Eucharist.
