Love leaves no stone untouched

Block paving – it’s all the rage,
Cobbled stones of modern age.
Laid to cover grass and weed,
Suppressing all growth of seed.
Laid in regimental lines,
In pretty patterns – sometimes.
Laid to smooth our way ahead,
And drain the rain from homestead.
But block paths are not adverse
To nature’s signs of converse.
A shadow cast from above,
The sign of God’s saving love.
