This is the message given by Our Lady to Mirjana this morning.
Dear children! With all the strength of my heart, I love you and give myself to you. As a mother fights for her children, I pray for you and fight for you. I ask you not to be afraid to open yourselves, so as to be able to love with the heart and give yourselves to others. The more that you do this with the heart, the more you will receive and the better you will understand my Son and His gift to you. May everyone recognise you through the love of my Son and through me. Thank you. January 2, 2008
• Mirjana reported that Our Lady also requested prayers and fasting for our shepherds (priests).
• This is the third occasion in nine days since the birth of Jesus that Our Lady has spoken to the world through the visionaries: Jakov, Marija and today, Mirjana.
In each of the messages the clear emphasis is Our Lady’s desire for Jesus to be born into our hearts, so that we can love with the love of Jesus and his Mother, a love that we are created for. This calls for an open heart, without fear or distraction. With love in our hearts we are able to give gladly and to receive joyfully. But it is difficult to love even oneself if the heart is closed. No mother wants her child to go in on itself, to close out the love that she naturally wishes to give. She will persist and persevere; fight as one message says, to encourage the heart of her child to open to the love that is essential for life.
I call you to become open to God and for each of your hearts today to become a place of Jesus’ birth…. I desire to lead you to the joy of your life… Jakov.
With great joy I bring you the King of Peace for Him to bless you with His blessing… Marija.
I ask you not to be afraid to open yourselves, so as to be able to love with the heart and give yourselves to others… Mirjana
• The timing and similarity of Our Lady’s three messages, speaking as once voice, tells me of the special relationship that she shares with the visionaries and reminds me also of the unique relationship she has with the Blessed Trinity: the Father of Mary, the Son of Mary, and the Holy Spirit, Spouse of Mary – THREE IN ONE. This reflection of unity can also be recognised at this Christmas time within the Holy Family: Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Mirjana’s message echoes wonderfully the message given by the angel to Joseph: “Do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife…” When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord told him to do: he took his wife to his home… Matthew: 1 : 20, 24
Similarly, It was John who took Our Lady into his heart, his home, when Jesus spoke from his cross: “Woman, this is your son.” Then to the disciple he said, “This is your mother.” And from that moment the disciple made a place for her in his home. John 19 : 26-27
This triad of Christmas messages combine to harmonise once more the words of the Gospel, the call to make straight our paths for the Lord, so that he and his mother can find room to live in our hearts. The call is to repentance and reconciliation with God and each other.
To repent and to reconcile is to love and be nourished with love.
