There’s a picture on my wall,
So serene, it’s beautiful,
And when I gaze, it seems to call
me to peace.
I’m told it comes from far away,
A place called Medjugorje.
I hope to travel there some day
and find peace.
This picture shows a lady’s face.
They say that she is full of grace,
And a mother to embrace.
She brings peace.
Gentle smile as she looks down,
Clothed in pink and sky-blue gown,
Upon her head a 12-star crown,
Queen of Peace.
Holy Lady on my wall,
Blessed woman beyond all,
I shall answer to your call,
‘Yes’ to peace.
